Those of us who are looking for God are not going to find Him in the world. God is not going to be in the world. We will go into the world looking for a fun night while also be looking for the holy spirit at the same time. We are not going to find either a good night or the holy spirit.
To start, this journey to building an everlasting relationship with God is a life long journey. This journey will force us to experience many blessing along with many, many hard times. The world advertises good times, lots of money and beautiful women as a good life. That stuff is cool and all but that will not bring a truly good life. Unfortunately a good life is full of hardships.
How do hard times equal a good life? Hard times equal a good life because going through hard times we will look back when it is over and discover how God was working in our life. Realizing that God really is with us in all situations we are able to build this relationship with Him. When our relationship with God is strong others will see that God is with us & soon they to will want to develop a relationship with God as well.
Having fun is much different than living in joy. Fun is temporary, joy is inside of us. Joy is a comfort in knowing everything is going to be ok because yes we have God with u in everything.
But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.
