With out God what are? With out God we are lost individuals. Searching for some thing (greatness) while others just go with out purpose though out life.
OK, now what are we when we have God but forget to praise Him? We are not at our best the motivation is not there to achieve the greatness that God has instilled in us. We get lazy I am super duper guilty of this. Depression hits when I don't focus on God.
It is easy to forget that God is the controlling force in our life. Let me explain, when something bad happens to you, for example you get injured most go directly to God in prayer letting Him take care of everything. Other go into reaction mode trying to solve the problems that have arrived.
Please don't ever forget that God is anyways in charge. God has a plan for us and if the plan does not go the way He wants it too it is because we as humans are not disciplined enough to take the best actions at every given moment. Realize that there is no reason to panic when we notice we have fallen short "again". God is waiting for us to come back to the path He has set out for us. God has not been waiting there tapping His feet. He has sent His angels out to us to bring us back. It is our ignorance, blindness, lack of motivation that take the angels so long to bring us back to His path.
Let God lead our life.
