Our most treasured possessions and our deepest desires are inseparable. If you where to be buried in your most loved place where would it be? Is your favorite place the beach, mountains or is it Heaven?
The treasures of this world are beautiful. Do no let these beautiful things distract us from the word of God. The Devil wants your heart and soul as well and is willing to pay anything, do anything for it. Do not sell your sell for fame and fortune. Give your soul to God. Do not expect anything back in return like, a stress free life. Or health. No no no, unfortunately giving your soul to God is like trying to hook up with the one girl who is out of your league but knows that you would be able to make her smile, laugh and be brought happiness by you. God works the same way for most people. He plays hard to get, tugging you along day by day to ensure within your self how badly you do want give your Heart and soul to him.
Matthew 6:19-21
19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
