Whats more valuable?
Do I want the reward now or do I want to continue to work build upon the prize and get it later? That is easy! I want to work upon the prize and make it better. The prize that God has for us is beyond anything we can image. One day we will die and we will be in heaven. It is all a mystery to what it will actually be like.
We will not be able to get to heaven if we are only focused on what is happening with our present day prize. We go to work we get a paycheck next Friday. Take a date out to dinner and a movie, get a kiss on the cheek good night. These are things that bring immediate rewards.
Pray, worship, bring glory to God give up everything we have for God. Understand knowing we do is not without the power of God. This will bring the eternal prize. Is the sacrifice worth it?
