What God offers is a cross to carry and eternal life. Not comfort.
You have been called called out individually to serve His kingdom at some point in your life. If you don't recall being called to serve Gods kingdom ever I'm asking you right now. Do you want to serve the kingdom of Heaven?
We are called to share His word with the world.
We are called to fully commit to Him.
These are callings that bring change. We are to change. We are to deny our wants. Jesus told us in Luke 9: 57-62
- that birds and foxes have a place to rest here head, but man does not,
- let the dead bury their own
- no there is not time to say farewell to your family,
Jesus has called us to get out of our comfort zone. But be reassured anything He has called us to do is worth doing. This is serious business. and if you at all believe that it is to hard for you to stick to. You are right it will be to hard to do on your own, you won't be able to do it. But the great news is that when we serve Him He helps us in mysterious ways. I promise you He helps.
What are some excuses people use for choosing comfort over Gods will?
for one comfort is a hard thing to give up on and two, personally I am scared. Only if you knew how nervous I was to start posting and the more I post the more scared I get because I don't think the same. I am like you and have a few left field questions that may not serve His kingdom by asking.
