The journey of faith takes a life time. Being a faithful Christian takes patience, endurance, training and discipline. It will not be easy. In keeping Gods word alive faithful Christians will face more challenges than most. We will have to sacrifice earthly joys in order to do what is being called upon us by God.
To be successful believers in Christ must keep looking to Christ for guidance, praying that our paths will be light by His holy light. When times are hard and we begin to question our self asking is this stuff for real or i'm I making life harder on my self for all the wrong reasons.
When thoughts like that begin to crawl into our mental lets look to Jesus Christ. He will empower us with everything we need to know that we are doing the right things by making sacrifices to preserve His word. Christ alone is truly all we need. He helps us resist the temptations of the world so that we will remain strong in Him.

Hebrews 12:1-2
12 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
