Priestly Divas

Let us realize how a position of authority can inflate our opinion of ourselves. There is a saying in the south "I wish I could buy him for what he s worth and then sell him for what he thinks he is worth."  More often than not we are putting our self's on a pedestal. We enjoy the compliments that we get so we act to get them just like the likes and hearts on all of these social medias. Some are living their life or other doing things that don't reflect who they really are on the inside.
I understand not wanting to be the Jesus freak because you will be ostracized and laughed at and maybe that really is not your jam yet. But realize that the compliments and hearts, likes those are all from mainly strangers who wont help you up when you are down.

Matthew 23:7-12
they love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and to be called ‘Rabbi’by others. “But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. 10 Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah. 11 The greatest among you will be your servant. 12 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
