Gods will for us must be much more important to us than our own desires for our self. The path God has set our for us must be the path we take, not because it is what we want to do be because it is what God wants us to do. As we walk the path we may go through treacherous things and through all of it we will begin to enjoy the path God has set out for us.
Walking Gods path brings internal happiness. Drop a comment telling how God has brought happiness to your life. What did you had to go through to receive it?
This path will force us to have mental challenges. We will have to think about things differently to enjoy our journey. "We do not have to go to church. We get to go to church." DO NOT FORGET! Church is when two or more people are gathered in Gods name. We do not have to go to an established corporate place to worship. When two or more people are gathered in Gods name God is there. Ask God to lead the messages that are being deliver and have the message love delivered from the heart and with love.
"We don't have to serve others. We get to serve others."
"We don't have to serve God. We get to serve God."
God does not need anybody to serve Him He is all mighty and powerful. Gods ego may be hurt if we don't serve Him for He is a jealous God. Serving others without getting or expecting to receive anything in return is part of developing that inner happiness.
"We do not have to give. We get to give."
Choose to delight in the things of God rather than seeing them as duties. Choose every morning to live a new day on fire for God.
2 Peter 1:3-4
3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
