How to receive Gods Revelation (rev·e·la·tion)
~Psalm 19:7-9~
The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul;
the testimony of the Lord is sure, making the wise simple;
the status of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
Six descriptions of Gods (our Lords) revelation:
1. The Law of our Lord is perfect restoring souls to where they are suppose to be in the Loving hands Jesus Christ.
2. The Testimony of our Lord is true, knowing this simples a lot.
When the truth goes so deep and is not understood it is important to NOT try to figure everything out at once. The truth of Jesus Christ takes a lifetime and forever to understand.
3. The statutes (a rule of an organization or institution (in biblical use) a law or decree made by a sovereign, or by God.)
It is comforting knowing that there is a standard set by a loving God.
4. The commandments have been set by our Lord, God Himself the Alpha and Omega.
When we see purity with enlightening eyes it is possible to realized that there is nothing more holy than our Lord God, Jesus Christ himself.
What does it mean to be holy? Morally and spiritually excellent, a person who has devoted there life to the service of God. No One is as holy as Jesus Christ. That is why we are to strive to be MORE like Him.
5. The Fear, of our Lord is hard to explain. God is our father who loves us. Every child with a loving father knows that, their fear from their "dad" is from a true loving place or not.)
A loving father will embrace there child while also disciplining them.
6. Judgment from our Lord, the decisions He makes effect the current situation our lives are in. Our Lords decisions will harden ones heart or open up their eyes to see the multiple blessings that are occurring in your life right now along with multiple hardships that will rain down on your life.
